Dr. Wakar Amin Zargar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work, University of Kashmir, with over 20 years of teaching, research, and community engagement experience. His research focuses on public health, HIV/AIDS, social policy, marginalized communities, and psychosocial interventions. He has successfully completed multiple externally funded research projects, supervised numerous doctoral scholars, published extensively in national and international journals, and currently serves as Programme Coordinator of the National Service Scheme (NSS), University of Kashmir.
