One-day awareness program sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI for college/university students of the Kashmir Region with the objective to build awareness among the target audience about the perils of drug addiction and to identify and disseminate preventive strategies regarding the same.

The Department of Social Work organised One Week Research Methodology Workshop for Ph.D Students of different disciplines in Social Sciences. The said programme primarily focused on the training of “Quantitative and Qualitative Research methodology”. The priority was given to the scholars enrolled for their Ph.D. in the disciplines-Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, History, Economics, Central Asian Studies, Kashmir Studies, Library and Information Sciences and Islamic Studies.
